Lecture Series: Aspects of Context-aware Systems (SS '05)

Deutsche Version

Lecture Series

Aspects of Context-aware Systems
Period:      Thursdays, 2005-04-14 to 2005-07-14
Time: 17:30 o'clock to 19:00 o'clock
Location: Universitätsstraße 38, Lecture Hall V 38.02
Exception on May 12th: Lecture Hall V 38.04

Today's computer systems typically do not adapt to the user and his situation. Capturing the user's situation through sensor systems enables context-aware systems. Those use context information, such as a user's location and preferences, to adjust the presentation or selection of information.

In the scope of the lecture series, experts from both industry and sciences will present the state-of-the-art of research in the field of context-aware systems. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their ideas with experts and research members of the SFB.
